I repeat: Home, Boys, Home.

Journal Entry: Mon Dec 21, 2009, 12:20 AM

Going home to Boden in what, twelve hours (if the train isn't delayed). I really need to start updating this space more often, since I always get so... lost when a lot of things have happened. Where to start? What to say?

I'm almost considering starting to use twitter, as dA has a convenient twitter feed-thing. A way to sugar the pill, I guess... slooowly transition myself into blogging on dA again. The trouble is, though - the result would only be that I had to think about using twitter, and that'd just give me one more thing to forget about... oh and also, twitter + self-respect? Does not compute. Unsolvable equation.

... ok, for those who will now come and recommend me microblogging sites - the above paragraph was a joke.

Aaaaanyway. I'm drawing quite a lot, but for some reason, can't seem to be arsed to finish or upload anything :/ Also I'll be going home without my tablet. Since ~Wursu's computer is currently not working I lent her my large one since I was planning to take my small little netbook with me home anyway, and since it's smaller than my tablet and I don't even have photoshop on it... nah. There's just no point in it. So I'll be doing a lot of traditional arts this Christmas, until the 9th of January when I come back to Uppsala, having spent a train ride with *Lienwyn <3

So yeah anyway, I'll not go away from dA or anything, but I'll continue to not upload anything for a few weeks (no scanner if nothing else) and hopefully make a glorious return in Janyary with actual art. Now wouldn't that be something?

This will be a very long week. Luckily enough, ~Vidrig will come visit me this weekend, so I'll be sure to have some fun anyway :XD:

Oh well. Off to mope about homework before I can get my chin up and just. do. it.

Borås, Borås

Journal Entry: Fri Nov 20, 2009, 4:51 AM

Sung to the tune of 'New York, New York'.

För om jag lyckas här
Finns inga mer besvär
Då har jag allt
Borås, Borås

I'm in Borås, visiting *Lienwyn for her birthday, but I won't have any internet. My mobile internet connection doesn't work right now, quite unexpectedly, so I'll borrow *Lienwyn's computer to check dA, maybe some e-mail and the likes. But you won't see much of me until Tuesday, I'm afraid :(

Ah well, time to go back to Tetris. Cheers!

Workshop

Journal Entry: Fri Nov 13, 2009, 8:40 AM

I wanted to name this entry 'lekstuga' but can't find a good translation, this mostly because I suck, not because there isn't an equivalent.
I think.
Anyway I don't have the energy.

Today I had a visitor! Yay! We played with copics! Yay!
And then she left.

Maybe I'll work some on some contest entries or something like that. Anything but work >_<

I've decided to go get some H1N1-vaccine this Monday or Thursday by the way. I realised that not only am I in one risk group (student) but also in another (asthmatic), and while the first doesn't matter much the second does. I had planned to wait until December or January to get the shot, but I might just think it's worth it going there early. I don't really think I'd get sick, but what the heck, vaccines rule. And the side-effects? PFSCH. THEY FEEL LIKE SCIENCE so stfu :D

Bloody Yanks

Journal Entry: Wed Nov 11, 2009, 11:46 AM

For 5000SEK you get 72 copic sketch markers in Sweden.

From dickblick or similar American sites, you get the same set of markers for 2200SEK.

In fact, two sets of markers + one set of 9 copic multiliners sell for 4600 SEK - 400 SEK less than you get one set of markers for in Sweden.

Add customs to that (if they catch the package) and you may end up paying 5700 SEK for the lot, which is still approx. 5000 SEK less than you would have paid for it in Sweden, and thus, a whole lot more affordable.

Bloody yanks.

... OKAY on a happier note, ~Wursu just bought us some new tea! So I'mma go try it out. I've already tried the different sorts, but I haven't decided which one I like the most yet, so bah ;P
